Dinyatakan Hamil, 4 Jam Kemudian Melahirkan - Kisah yang dialami Belinda Waite seorang penata rambut di Inggris berusia 21 tahun ini benar-benar aneh tapi nyata. Selama 9 bulan dia tidak pernah diketahui hamil. Tapi setelah dokter mendeteksi dirinya hamil, 4 jam kemudian si jabang bayi langsung lahir.




Awalnya, Belinda selalu merasa sakit perut dan dan oleh rumah sakit lokal setempat di daerah Tiverton, ia diduga mengalami sindrom iritasi usus besar atau Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). Penyakit IBS menyebabkan nyeri perut, diare dan sembelit.

Belinda mengaku dirinya tidak pernah merasa baik selama beberapa bulan sebelum terjadinya kelahiran yang mengejutkan itu. Badannya yang memang besar tidak membuat dirinya dan orang berpikir dia sedang hamil.

"Aku merasa seperti ada sesuatu yang bergerak dalam diriku setiap bertambah bulan. Tapi aku tidak pernah dianggap hamil dan dokter pun tampaknya tidak berpikir demikian," kata Belinda yang memang berstatus lajang karena belum resmi menikah dengan pasangannya seperti dilansir dari Telegraph, Rabu (10/3/2010).

Ketika Natal tahun 2009, Belinda kemudian ke rumah sakit itu lagi setelah tangan dan kakinya bengkak dan dokter mengatakan ia menderita gout (radang sendi) dan alergi.

Kemudian pada 6 Februari 2010 atau malam sebelum anaknya lahir, Belinda kembali ke rumah sakit itu karena merasa nyeri di seluruh tubuhnya.

Jam 10 malam dokter memastikan ia sedang hamil tapi baru tiga bulan, padahal sebenarnya ia sedang hamil 9 bulan. Kemudian Belinda pulang, tapi pada pukul 2.30 dinihari atau 4,5 jam setelah diberitahu hamil Belinda langsung melahirkan.

Bayi perempuannya lahir di rumah dengan proses kelahiran yang dibantu ibu pasangannya Sylvia Wyane. Bayi pertamanya itu dinamakan Louise Boyles yang merupakan anak dari pasangannya yang bernama Wyane Boyles (28 tahun). Bayi perempuan itu lahir dengan berat 3,6 kilogram.

"Semuanya terjadi begitu cepat, kami sampai tidak punya waktu untuk berpikir. Tidak ada yang percaya bahwa kami seperti tiba-tiba memiliki anak," kata Belinda.
